RVA Way hiking group was founded in 2017 for the purpose of posting weekly training hikes in preparation for the Camino de Santiago Portuguese Coastal adventure. Since that first training hike, we have walked many miles and many trails. The resulting tribe that formed is welcoming, social, and kind. Tribe members range from kidos to late 70s and there's a trail and a pace that suites everyone. More about RVA Way in this article published by the Capita Trail Foundation.
Sunday hikes are often followed by brunch somewhere
with delicious breakfast options and mimosas.
While RVA Way hikes are appropriate for beginners, add a bit of extra fun by: walking frequently, include elevation gain, and even wear weights (rucking). These are just some of the many ways to increase strength and endurance bringing long term benefits like much sought after vitality and energy, not to mention good sleep and emotional wellbeing.

RVA Way's mission is to bring people together. To inspire busy or not-so-busy folks to come out for a bit of play time, social time, and to take in the air while keeping the mind, body, and spirit vital. You can help the cause with your sponsorship so we can provide more support during events and with outreach.
